I've been busy folding paper cover fro my latest giveaway disk for FantasyCon 2009, printing out Novelblog flyers.
On the writing side I finished the 3rd draft of Inheritance. Have found time to sort stories for my Society collection, on the last tale at the moment, but might squeeze another one in if i can.

Well it's been a hell of a ride (excuse the pun). I think I achieved all my limited goals, the conventions, the book signings, a book reading (the hardest part), possible hollywood film deal (not expecting that).
It could of sold more, but couldn't they all, I've seen Demon on the shelves of the horror section of my local Waterstones (without me begging), met alot of great new writers and some old ones that I was a fan of.
And it's still selling and being reviewed, take heart other authors it takes time for these things to catch on.
Happy Birthday my Demon spawn, one day your little brother Demon II: Demon Wars will come along......

PS: A huge thanks to everyone who bought it and supported it, I know who you are.

Yes I'm writing like a madman to complete a few different projects by xmas. Kumiho my 2nd novel needs revising before being sent off to publishers, Khristoff my 3rd novel is passed the 350 page mark, so the pressure is off now really, it's book length and the climatic ending is just beginning.
Having short story ideas like there is no tomorrow, just finished Into the Endless Sea of Night, which i really love. Started two others and have plans for not 1 but 2 collection of shorts, one Society based, one not.
and the future idea for an athology collection, which is in it's planning stages at the moment.
Chat soon

I was a bit nervous about going to this, I am a BFS member, but this was my first visit to such an event.
I'm so glad I went and would like to thank Lee Thompson, Sam Stone Simon Clark (yes that one) and David J Howe for chatting to me and making me feel welcome.
Please excuse an nice people my crap memory forgot or names I remembered wrongly lol.
Even saw one of the editors who rejected Demon, I bore no grudge, but nor did i buy them a wine either.
I really pushed my social skills today and glad I did, when's the next one.
Thanks to Sam for the signed copy of Gabriele Caccini (soon to be rare). yours will be in the post soon.

While the third novel (Society one) has reached 200 pages written so far. I've just added in a cameo from James Warren-Gash, from Demon and the hero of Blood & Guts.
This book feels like a Greastest hits album sometimes, but boy is it great fun to write.
Keep reading, keep telling your mates and family to buy Demon.
And Bill Hussey's Through a Glass Darkly is out next month, so why not order both.
