Peter Mark May was born in Walton on Thames Surrey in 1968. Married with two young sons, he has been writing as a hobby since he left school.

After the sudden death of his eldest brother in 2004, he decided to take voluntary redundancy from an eighteen year Civil Service career and follow his dream of becoming a published author. Demon was released on 21st January 2008. Since January he has read extracts from Demon at FantasyCon, signed books at Gamesfest 3 and made an aweful lot of nice writers chums. He was honoured to be one of the first writers to contribute to Horror Bound Magazine and he has a lots more tales of terror to tell.

His next book will be Cavern and he has a short story in the Creature Features Anthology, both published by Ghostwriter Publications in 2009. He is now working on several projects including novels and novellas.

His short story Into the Endless Sea of Night, has just been published in the US Magazine Astonishing Adventures Magazine Issue 6#.

Peter is a member of the British Fantasy Society, the FCOA and the Tuffty Club (though this membership may have lapsed).
